Dan Worrell

Managing Director

Mr. Worrell is a member of Blackrock's Global Credit Platform.  He is a Portfolio Manager/Research Analyst focused on middle market performing loans and special situations largely in the US. Mr. Worrell heads industry coverage for consumer goods, retail, specialty finance and supports healthcare. Mr. Worrell sits on the Board of Directors for portfoilio companies in the Consumer and Healthcare industries.  He has been at BlackRock and its predecessor, TCP Capital, since 2007.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Worrell was a High Yield Portfolio Manager with Mulholland Capital Advisors, where he analyzed and invested in high yield credit opportunities, capital structure arbitrage and special situations. Prior to joining Mulholland, Mr. Worrell was an Investment Manager and Vice President at a Central Asia-focused private equity fund based in Kazakhstan. Prior to working in Kazakhstan, Mr. Worrell was vice president with JP Morgan Securities and analyst with Gruss Partners.

Mr. Worrell earned an M.B.A. (Dean's List) from Columbia University in 1991.
